Isla Reeser walked around the owlery, looking at all of the owls perched up; all happy and whanot. To be honest, she was sad. The owlery only reminded her of when Rocky, her pet owl, died last year. It was a tragic accident and she couldn't rid of that line that her mom said over the phone. It had hurt her. Hurt her so much that she cried for days and her ex boyfriend made her a wooden carving of Rocky.
She wanted to take care of the owls though since she didn't have one to take care of anymore. She grabbed a couple of owl treats from the bag and gave some to some of the owls. They were super cute and Isla couldn't help but smiling as they hooted at her wanting more treats.
Kace decided to come up to the Owlery because he wanted to tell his parents the good news. He wanted to go to Astronomy Camp to pursue his passion in Astronomy and it was only Arizona. It wasn't too far away. Possibly his dreams could come true. He brought some parchment and a quill and began to write when he was in the owlery.
A few scribbles....scribbles.....scribbles....here and there and he heard the owls hooting. He looked up and saw a girl was here. Now why did she look SO familiar. He kept looking at her and observing her. He really had no idea why he knew her. Then it clicked. Ah Braedon told him about their little drama that happened. He couldn't believe his cousin did that. Well know he would learn.
He cleared his throat and didn't want to scare her.
"Heyyy Isla is it? Sorry to scare you but I think you know my cousin Braedon right?" he asked just to be sure.
