Then again, Dec's version of Hogwarts wasn't lining up to her's yet.
No matter, she stood outside, looking around for Damien. Where was that weirdo? Probably got lost, or worse, flirting. Ugh, teen boys and their hormones. She kept hers on check, okay?? Ror set down the briefcase she got from the Room of Requirement on one of the seats. Nothing was in it. She just had it for emphasis. Her hair was also tightly pulled back into a ponytail all professional-like. The things she does for this kid, honestly.
Damien was serious. It was not a mood the boy often was in, but this meeting with his head of house – Celebrated Astronomer Airey Flamsteed – was not to be taken lightly, especially not if he wanted to get out of wearing those awful, horrendous, shapeless, gross robes. So he put on his nicest dark blue suit – It was Prada, thank you – with a crisp dress shirt, matching tie and the silver tie clip his mother had bought him when he’d gotten into Hogwarts. The final touch was the careful styling of his dark blond hair.
All in all,
Damien thought he looked cool, well put together and ready to “lawyer up” as the saying went. A thought that gave him confidence as he walked up to the Professor’s office, where he was pleased to spot his Partner in Crime already waiting for him.
“Miss Hazlewood,” He said, nodding his head curtly to her. And then he caught sight of the briefcase and he had to bite his lip to keep from laughing. “Knock, if you would?” Damien added, after gathering himself and clearing his throat in that way he always did when nervous.
“nice briefcase, btw.” The boy just couldn't help himself.
