Parties were always so much fun here. Emmylou beamed and waved to what looked like some new students or so she thought that they were new students because if they were suppose to be in Gryffindor then she had never seen their beautiful faces before. "IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!" Emmylou sang off key and for one it wasn't a Christmas time so these muggle songs were not doing any good for the start of term but it felt so right!

The fifth year lioness twirled around. She was just so happy to be back here and to be able to see all her friends that she hadn't gotten to see over the summer so this was the perfect time to be here and welcome some new students too! Emmylou blinked as she saw Professor Airey. What was he doing? She for one shouldn't be calling him Airey in her head because there was something about him that really made her think that he could read peoples minds. "Welcome to Gryffindor new peoples!!" Emmylou waved once more and gave all of the first years and the transfers a warm, friendly smile.

She really couldn't wait to meet all of the new Gryffindors and show them around the castle.
