Finally gathering everything up she made her way into the office. []b "Hello, sorry about that, just slipped out of my hands."[/b] Finding a seat Victoria quickly took it so that nothing else fell out of her hands. "How's your day going so far?" She shuffled papers as she listened to get them all back in order. "I brought a list of items for the manager meeting for you to look over. I also have some trades that need signed off on." Busy off season was coming to a close and they still had so much going on. She hated the last minute deals and switches the teams always did. Taking another sip of her coffee, Mariel looked up and smiled seeing Victoria enter, her smile soon faltering as she saw the papers scatter all over the floor. "Do you need some help?" She started to get up but once she saw that her friend had things under control, or would by the time she got over to the door, she took a seat back down. "Oh, it's alright... got everything back in order?" It appeared so, but Mariel hated flustered mornings like that, she knew how it could set the entire tone for the day. "Going fine so far.. nothing really out of the ordinary." Just a typical day on Level Seven as far as she could tell.
Oh yes, of course there would be paperwork for her to sign, Mariel was expecting that. "Okay, great," she nodded, her hand extended to take the papers she needed to look over. "How are the plans for the meeting coming along? No one has given you any trouble, have they?" She knew a few of them would balk at the prospect of having more serious consequences for some of the issues that were growing out of hand, though most of them were at least complaint. "Oh.. I had just gotten word that Alexis Chosen is retiring," she added, reaching for the memo she had received. She was taking another position with the team, but she couldn't remember exactly what. It was in the memo though.
