It took him a moment to realize why she was being vague - she didn't know whether he was a Muggle or a wizard. OR she just didn't want to seem like she needed help. Which he could totally understand.

"Going to Platform 9 3/4," he replied, still grinning. "Have you heard of it?" Surely she had since she'd been staring at the entrance.
