| I don't have the lyrics, but using the charrie playby's real songs FTW :P Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict The day had dawned bright and cheery, yet Rory had nerves practically since the moment she'd woken up. The fact she was 99.9% sure there would likely not be anyone at the festival just because of her performing certainly hadn't helped, no matter how much Chris and others tried to convince her otherwise. Tried to convince her that she needed to do this. Studying music wasn't going to get her anywhere if she didn't learn to perform it in front of others, and this was her test. The first time she would be preforming in front of more than one or maybe two people, people she knew and trusted.
She'd waited backstage as she had been announced, occasionally peeking out to see if anyone was even there. No matter how nervous she was, she knew it would be even worse if nobody cared. At least somebody had to be curious, even if they were really only there for the next performer. Once her name echoed over the grounds, she stepped forward to the microphone, shaking her head to let her thick hair flick back behind her shoulders. She might be tiny and a ball of nerves, but she could pretend.
"Good morning everyone. I know you may not know who I am, but I hope you can at least enjoy the music...," she began with a smile. She'd been deciding on her set list for the past week or so, and changed it what felt like millions of times until she'd felt like she would go crazy. She'd always known she'd play this song, though. "This one is called 'Lost in the Sound'. I hope you enjoy it," she concluded, reaching for the microphone and launching into the song.
