The blonde smiled reassuringly and nodded her head, amused at Alec's enthusiasm. It was July and July meant ice cream and lots of it, it just did.

"M'not doing anything." Not really. More blushing happened because kiss and the whispering. The whispering. He knew he shouldn't do that. He had to know, yeah? And now she was all flustered, fyi. Nicely played, Summers. "Busy guy, Tag is. I'm glad he's happy." Genuinely glad and she could totally see how proud the boyfriend was. She secretly hoped he was this proud of her too.

She smiled at his words and nodded because she knew he did. Still nice to hear, though. And she hoped he was feeling better because this day was meant to be fun.

When the next band stepped on to the stage, Ella's excitement increased. Because she'd heard of this band and because it meant they were closer to hearing their former classmates perform. Exciting, right? It was nice that they were being heard and getting good feedback on their music. Ella was a fan. The twenty year old bobbed her head to the music and the occasional hip wiggle happened at appropriate times during the tune. Not her favorite song but not bad.

Alec was starting to get a little worried about the lack of ice cream. A little. Sure, they had some tubs at home but it would be nice to get some at the festival, you know? Not even trying to peek over at the food tables helped, not when he was standing all the way over here. "They definitely won't have waffles, would they?" he asked, turning his attention back towards her. At a music festival? It didn't seem right, which was a shame because waffles were great!

Not doing anything? "You're always doing something, Ells," She just had a very distracting face, didn't she know? It was nice to look at, even moreso when she was blushing like the way she was doing now. And he knew exactly why. GRIN. Payback. "Yeah... busy." Which was great for him, really, but... Alec did miss the guy a lot. "Me too. How's Sophs by the way?" Since they were on the topic of best friends.

And of COURSE he was proud of her.

Alec, who was trying to pay attention to the stage and the people playing, suddenly found himself distracted by Ella Bishop and her hip wiggles. The eyebrows were raised and a small flush spread across his cheeks as he watched her. Was she doing this on purpose? Because all of a sudden, he found himself bopping along with her and wiggling his own hips as well. He even held up both his and the blonde's arms and waved them in time to the music.

Alec Blake Summers was dancing.
