Ian had been so busy trying to keep up with note taking and potion/poison concerns that he didn't think he was going to do very well in this class. Of course Professor Cosgrach had learned to encourage Ian, even though Ian was completely and hopelessly inept at this class.

He looked to the blackboard to figure out the potion work to be done in class, but he wasn't sure who he might partner with. He looked around to see if anyone else was still available/looking for someone to work with.
