Zander smiled as he saw Sophie Brown walking towards him, though he couldn't help but wonder why she didn't automatically go for her 'Tobes' like she normally did. See, he would never actually admit this to her, but Zander actually missed the girl. Even missed how she poke at him with her jokes all the-- Speaking of pokes.... The Gryffindor playfully clutched onto his side pretending as if it hurt, but the smiled nevertheless. "Hi, Sophie," he smiled as he looked back at the Professor for an explanation of this chalk thing. He did not feeling like doing the reduction thing today.

And come to think of it, Sophie was a Ravenclaw so maybe she could do the calculations part and Zander could do the writing part like interpretations or something. Like a trade off. Seemed fair, right?

BUT WAIT, so they really weren't doing reductions?!! HOW COME TANNER DIDN'T TEACH THE SUBJECT ALL THE TIME!! Okay, okay back to the point. Sophie was poking again. He looked down at his notes and by the time he looked back up, Sophie had already begun doing her thing. Except wait a minute. Taking what he thought was a red piece of chalk- which turned out to look more pink- he crawled over to the girl's other side and scribbled in a And Zander Adair Also, right below her name.

Then he looked over to her and grinned, before noticing the rest of her drawings and nodding a little bit. "I'm going to draw some muggle coins on this side because you know... Wealth is like a universal thing?" Right? Arithmancy?... Ahem. But there was also another side to the number 44 according to his book. "How do you wanna show the emotionally rich side?" he asked casually as he began drawing a 5 pence, 10 pence, and 1 pound onto the concrete with different colored chalk. "Uh, like a treasure chest filled with a bunch of faces that have different emotions???" Or was that stupid? Yeah.
