Post #1 Mod Babysitter | be curious, not judgmental Oooohhhh... interesting, they got to DRAW stuff. Very exciting and out of the ordinary for a class activity and she couldn't WAIT to start, so as soon as they got their instructions, Soph skimmed the list of master numbers and their meanings to pick one that seemed like it would be most fun to draw -
Forty-four. Absolutely the best one to choose.
"I'm picking forty-four," she told Zander with another poke to his side, grinning away. "'Master of the Material,' it says. Should be super easy. Y'can draw glamorous stuff with me if you want." Or he could pick his own number and have less fun. His choice.
She had already moved to pick up a bunch of sidewalk chalk, then returned to their area to section off HER space in a big square shape on the pavement. With a blue piece of chalk, she wrote Sophie Brown in the left corner so everyone knew that was HER work space, then she put the number '44' in the right corner so they knew what she was illustrating. Then, without giving it much thought, she started off drawing the brown, black, and yellow chalk in tiny circles to illustrate a knut, sickle, and galleon respectively, using the black extra lightly to try to make it grey on the pavement. Money was the essential thing to draw first, wasn't it? Hehe. She drew lots more galleons than knuts or sickles to illustrate WEALTH in its simplest form, then drew a little stick-figure guy under it with its arms raised up to the money as if it was HOLDING all of it - a wealthy person with the master number of forty-four. Totally clever of her.
