Benny listened to what his classmates said and how the professor commented on them. From there the Gryffindor did his best to put together what they were getting at. When definitions and information was posted on the board at the front of the classroom, he was sure to write it all down into his notes. If it was being pointed out and made aware of, no doubt it might be useful in the future.
He listened as first Adi and another Hufflepuff had guesses and he had to admit they made sense. The previous three known master numbers were ones that were two digits and each digits was the same as the other. Benny wrote them down on his paper, starting with the five already given. 11...22...33...44...55...and on. No third 5 he believed as Angel suggested as she too spoke up with a guess.
The fourth year finally raised a hand to take a guess for himself. "Would 99 be one?"
