Now for the next part, "Now then, first take the bucket and pour the rest of the white liquid wash in." Unscrewing the top again to dump the rest into the bucket. "Then with the spell Aguamenti, fill it until it reaches halfway to dilute it. The water should resemble the texture of skim milk afterward. If it still looks thick, swivel or stir the bucket around until it does. It's important to dilute the wash because of the strength of it can damage their feathers otherwise." But was that it?

"Now take one of the blocks, these are sponges so dip one of them in and begin scrubbing their body starting from the head." Of course, one last tip whilst the Professor demonstrated by sticking the brick-shaped sponge into the wash before squeezing some of it to stop the dripping. Then carefully going over the top of the Hippogriff's head, patting the sponge over it lightly working in downward motions. "After you covered through every inch, you can finally use the last sponge to remove excess moisture and allow the feathers to air dry after." As Javier continued his scrubbing to the other regions, the earlier areas he started at began drying. He paused occasionally to pick up the other sponge and wipe off the drips to soak it up each time. This took some time, but luckily not too long since it was a sunny day for once. Now only one item was left to use.

Keep going, you're all doing great! The next post will be within 12-14 hours from now. =)

....................... Did he hear that correctly?

HE could name the Hippogriff? REALLY? HE could name HIM?

Zeke BEAMED the biggest he's EVERRRR beamed. "Thanks Professor, I won't let you... or him down." He was going to come up with the BEST name for THIS Hippogriff which he was already kinda claiming as his own.

"Don't worry boy, I'll get you a good name, one that suits you perfectly!" He was convinced of this, though he couldn't say the Hippogriff looked as confident.

With the bubbled foaming around its legs, it finally flopped itself into a sitting position in the water, making it far easier to reach his dirty spots.

Petting the Hippogriff some more, and taking in his full appearance, Zeke then turned to hear the next of the Professors instructions. YAYYY! CLEANING!

Zeke collected his bucket and the two sponges, leaving one to the side for now so he could use it later. First he added the rest of the small bottles contents into the bucket, and then filled it with water. "Aguamenti," he recited, watching the bucket fill to the right amount before stopping it, "Finite." With the washing water ready, Zeke dipped the end of one of the sponges in, and turned back to the Hippogriff. "You're going to be so handsome once we're done, super clean, and the sun will just bounce off you." That was the plan.

Starting with the head, Zeke held a hand to the Hippogriff's cheek and started cleaning from the other side, upwards, and then across and back down the cheek he was holding, then underneath where a chin would be - if bird-like beasts would have them... and then along further back to the neck. He Was Yet To Be Named squawked happily as the attention moved from his face to his neck and progressively to his back. He WAS gorgeous. Clearly a tough looking MANLY Hippogriff. "Did you know that Hippogriff's are common creatures in Greek Mythology? Go figure the muggles got something right," Zeke started to muse conversationally to He Was Yet To Be Named as he worked. "And with that in mind, I think a handsome Greek name would suit you. One that's as powerful as you look," he added, moving a little further along his back and stopping to pay one of the wings some attention. "I'd say Uranus, which was the God of the Heavens, also known as the Father Sky... but some people might miss the genius of that for something vulgar instead." Such a shame... so no, NOT Uranus. "Helios maybe?" he pondered, trying to gauge the Hippogriff's reaction. "Titan of the Sun and Guardian of Oaths... that sounds noble and powerful, which is everything that you are." The name was growing on him, but they'd wait and see.

Zeke continued working on the beast, patting it occasionally and washing very diligently as it squawked happily from time to time.
