As the Gryffindor stood waiting for the rest of the class to start showing up, he kept his eye out for friends. REEAALLLY hoping that either Kevin or Simon would show up because it felt like AGES since he'd seen either of them! Kevin wasn't that hard to find being that they were both Gryffindors and all, but the fourth year had hardly even seen Simon at all this year!! It was definitely an outrage and Zander wanted to protest or something. But anyways, seeing someone else approach he couldn't help but sink down a little once he realized it wasn't either of the two that he was hoping for. BUT, it was that girl from History of Magic instead and she did wave, so of course Zander smiled back at her-- a little unsure about whether being beasts together meant being friends or whatever, but she was being pretty nice so okay!!

Besides, Simon or not Zander was actually excited for this class!! So when she came to stand by him, he was happy to have some company. "Um, Hi," he smiled back. "Pretty well, actually!" That was a first all term. Ha. "Creatures is one of my favorite classes, but erm, how's it going with you?" Such a good mood for such a weird week/month/term??.

At the comment about Hippogriffs Zander nodded his head quite enthusiastically. They ARE REALLY COOL!! Any magic creature was really cool in his opinion, especially crups but he wouldn't get into that now, but yeah Hippogriffs were awesome! And last time they got to pet this one, so maybe this time they'd even be able to ride it or something!? Wouldn't that be REALLY cool!! "They're awesome!" he totally agreeed. This time watching Thompson carefully. Maybe if he saw how much they liked the Hippogriffs he'd be even more willing to let awesome things happen! Like Hippogriff rides. Just sayin'. It was worth a shot, right?
