Ab turned to the blackboard and waved his wand.
"This is a simple illustration of the artifact." He drew it himself to make it clearer. "Who can recognize some of the runes in there? Raise your hand before you answer, please." And there was the Professor! All normal and everything!
Zeke sat up a little straighter in his seat, and listened as the lesson began.
He DID have breakfasts, and he had snacks on his way here too, so he was definitely well fed. As for the artifact thing, and the runes thing... he was LOST.
WAS THAT A LUCKY HORSE SHOE?!................
He could have sworn Emily mentioned Runes having strong magic and like protecting things or making them better... or stronger... or something. Maybe they made race horses faster? Still, he didn't know what was ON them, he'd only be guessing, but he could guess... couldn't he?
Raising his hand, Zeke took a stab in the dark and offered a response of, "Isa?" He didn't specify which one, because he didn't have a clue... but it was a RANDOM GUESS.
