Tiffany was almost disappointed when Mr. Senior Undersecretary didn’t say anything, but a casually ‘good morning’, but of course he was a pretty busy man. So really she wasn’t that disappointed, there’d be plenty of time to speak with him later. But it was kind of strange, considering how during her first welcome meeting, they all got to know each other before starting the whole meeting thing. But maybe it’s because she got special treatment. Wouldn’t have been the first time actually. So instead of saying anything more, she smiled at the man and readjusted her skirt.
Smiling at the man next to her, she nodded politely when he introduced himself. Joćo? That was… an interesting name… No. No. She wasn’t going to judge him for it. She was beyond that. Ahem. He was in her department, they were going to be friends. She didn’t even really know him yet, so no. She couldn’t. No snap judgements. Not today, she was playing nice. ”Well, it’s very nice to meet you, Joćo.”
Before she could say anything more to the man, someone else had caught her attention. Someone else who was happening to be walking towards her now. As if by instinct, she tried to straighten her back, of course she was already sitting straight, and ran a hand through her hair. She quickly caught herself in the act, however, and mentally scolded herself and forced her gaze upon the pretty stationary she had laid out on the table. Was he looking at her? Ahem. What the heck was going on with her today? Ahem. “Good morning,” AND merlin, that smile. Ezra, she’d have to commit that to memory. The others too, but she had a feeling that she’d be speaking to this one more than some of the others. Hold on, no. What the heck was she even thinking. No. She just— no. She didn’t chase. Right. Ahem. Ezra, Media Liaison. Great. Perfect. “Tiffany Price, Advisor,” her voice was a lot softer than normal and there was a slight hint of pink making way unto her cheeks as she met his hand with her own. And his tie, could everyone take a moment of silence to just admire the fashion sense that this department was graced with at the moment. Merlin, Tiffany had always thought that she was the most fashion forward employee in this— No, she still was. Looking back at the stationary now, thank-you-very-much.
Her attention was back on Mr. Isaacs, well most of it was anyways. Save a few side glances at the others around the table. Some got more side glances than others. Not that she was counting. But more changes, what was he going on about? Tiffany wanted to ask, but then she figured he’d probably answer soon enough anyways. She did, however, look around the table again to see if anyone else had questions. And that’s when she noticed the Minister! When did he get here?! She smiled politely at him and made a mental note to get a word in with him some time soon. She never backed down from a chance to speak to the Minister of Magic himself. She was in a pretty brag worthy position, so she had to use every ounce of opportunity she could possibly muster. It was a must. And she needed something else to boast about because her shoes were a whole two days old!! That was like, hardly in season now! Couldn’t go on bragging about those anymore. Merlin, she needed to go shopping again. She was starting to have withdrawals.
