Maddie wondered WHY people kept giving answers the Professor had SPECIFICALLY said that she didn't want to hear. She could only conclude that they were either hard of hearing, trying to push Glendower's buttons, or genuinely confused about the discussion going on. In any case, the thirteen year old noted that the head girl was one of these people and raised her eyebrows. Interesting.
