Ruby gave her a saccharine little smile and put her bag down, but didn't say anything since she immediately began looking around and eyeing up the boys, trying to work out if any of the good ones were close enough to communicate with during the lesson right under Bellaire's eyes.
No, not Beverly. Beverly hadn't come and stood beside he and Happygoody. It was Banner. Ruby Banner. Whom he found interesting. Perhaps, even more so than Sophophorous-bean Brown. She at least knew how to dress herself. Cutty took one more glance at the dummy and realized that if they were indeed going to be transfiguring themselves some fineries having Banner nearby could ease the work.
