Dorothy was rubbing her eyes as she walked through the door, but felt the air change as soon as she had entered. It was so...quiet. She stared around at the boys and girls, wondering what had happened to all of them. Why weren't they sitting? So many questions. She rubbed her eyes once more- it was waaay to early, considering she had been up late looking for her ruby slippers- before standing up straight and looking the lady in front of the room in the eye. "Good morning," whoever you are. She looked much too unhappy to be a good witch, but her skin wasn't green so she probably wasn't a bad with either. Shrug. Maybe she wasn't a witch at all. Did they have non-witches on this side of the rainbow?
Dorothy walked to a stool and glanced around the room again. Nobody was sitting, so she shouldn't either riiiight? She stood next to the stool, staring at her non-ruby, non-magical shoes and began to rock back and forth on her toes, humming Somewhere Over the Rainbow almost inaudibly under her breath. This side of the rainbow was NOTHING like that song, nuh-uh. It was coooold here. And her troubles sure weren't melting like any lemon drops SHE'D ever encountered.
