The door to the store had opened a few times since she had arrived, she never thought twice about looking to see who had come in. Sure, the other times she had glanced hoping to see a familiar face but really, this was hogsmeade. She was going to see a bunch of Hogwarts students loading up on sweets for the rest of the term. Well, the sweets that they could get here, the rest well. That was where Cutty’s candy business came into play.

She hadn’t heard the person walk closer to her, but she did notice that someone was hugging her. A part of her thought it was probably the Grimm kid, or Lux, or someone else from the school – but that voice and the scent of ocean made her brain melt away slightly.

“Are you serious?” She grinned and spun around to face her friend…right he was her friend. Nothing more. Friends obviously got that gnawing feeling in the pit of their stomach when they saw each other right? “Braedon you – you’re here!” She grinned the skin around her eyes crinkling slightly as she smiled at him. “I missed your stupid face.” Because his face was stupid. Very stupid. So stupid.
