"Excuuuuuse you??" Alexa shot the Professor an incredulous look. "A date? Good one." The Professor had jokes, did he know how funny he was? Lex didn't date, it wasn't something she did and wasn't something she was fond of. Add the people in this class and you had the Gryffindor rising from her shell to go find the bloody crab herself.
"I have official business to take care of over there." And a vague point before gesturing for Penelope and Ethan to follow.
Toby kept finding himself actually searching for this little red hand-sized Sebastian, even pulling out his wand to carve some runes to brighten the place like the others were doing. Then he would remember that this Sebastian might not even exist, and that it was
Botros they should probably be focusing on, but then would think about how Sebastian might ACTUALLY be real and lost and alone and would resume the search. This happened multiple times before Tobias, frowning to himself, turned back to look at Botros and saw Lex.
There had been all that stuff with her being Maleficent, hadn't there? In Toby's eyes, that made her something of an authority on what was going on, even though he didn't know if
she knew what was going on. But... she was Head Girl, which meant she was automatically the person Toby would turn to when the professor in charge was... uhhh... not himself.
Under the pretense of moving elsewhere to look for this 'Sebastian', Toby hurried across to where she was going, half-aware that she was gesturing to other people. If it was a private conversation, Toby wouldn't want to intrude, but he was lost without Botros' authority in this class, and sort of looked like a helpless puppy as he called out,
"Lex?" to the Gryffindor.
As in 'Lex what's going on what should we do and also do you know where Sebastian is'.
