Ian strongly considered talking back, but the look he got from Professor Culloden strongly discouraged that course of action. Ian merely nodded and said,
Yes professor. Ten points! What an awful thing. Ian had worked really, really hard this year and that wiped out one homework session. He would have to find a way to make those points up. He was rather sad now, but he would do as the professor directed.
