What a long day it had been! But it certainly had been a productive one especially in the area of the Care of Magical Creatures homework. His fairies had actually gotten to like him. Or his hair and shoulder. Hehe.

But here the fourth year was now, lying on his belly on his bed about to get started on that little theoretical part of the homework. His quill was poised over his parchment all set to scribble down words. That's when he look up at his jar of fairies which was perched on the little table beside his bed and next to his framed picture of Hannah Lockwood.

"Hey, guys. Don't you sleep?'' The boy reached for the jar, noting that the fairies seemed wide awake. And that the jar needed cleaning again. He was supposed to do that twice a day anyway. Adi unscrewed the lid and the fairies immediately rose up and out. This time both settled down in his hair. He grinned. He liked having the little creatures in his hair.

Adi reached for his wand. "Scourgify!'' There. A sparkly clean jar. "You can go back in now.'' But the fairies had other ideas. They stayed where they were, making their buzzing sounds. He took that to mean that they were not leaving their new residence. "Okay, you can stay up there. I just have a few rules. No flying off, no pulling on my hair and when I'm ready to go to sleep, you'll go back into the jar. Deal?'' More buzzing. Adi figured that meant yes, they agreed.

Grinning, he picked up his quill once more and set to work.
