Ian had just dropped his salamander in when he heard someone greet him. He turned to see Zeke, that kid who had helped him instigate the most epic foodfight in the history of Hogwarts in Astronomy. When Zeke asked about how many Ian had captured, Ian shrugged.
This is the first one. This freezing spell was hard for me to practice in class because I got my wand stuck in my goblet of water. I called it my goblet-sicle. The professor had to get it out for me. Would have made an excellent club if necessary though. How about you? How many did you get?
Ian looked around for more salamanders that needed a 'little cooling off'. He saw one scurry by Zeke and let Zeke have it, because he didn't want to freeze Zeke to the floor. He still was having trouble with this thing. He hadn't even tried the variations yet.
It was then he saw one skirt on the outside of the flames on the opposite side of Zeke. Ian jabbed into space in the direction of the creature and yelled
GLACIUS!
