Seriously...did Adi always have to keep breaking up fights between these two? He put a hand on AJ. He knew she was fired up.

Ian was knuckle deep in the ham slop when he was confronted by Adi. Ian had tried not to bother Adi all term because Adi had gotten enough pain from Ian. I suppose though at some point, confrontation was inevitable. He put up his hands to show he meant Adi no harm. listen! I was just goin about my business in a proper food fight when she came up and smashed me with apple mush. I deserved it and let her hit me, I wasn't going to do nothing. I winked at her cause I wanted her to know I was ok with all of the good coming way from the lot of you. I deserve it and so much more. I was going to take it, but that seemed to make her more mad and she HIT ME IN THE FACE WITH A WHOLE HAM! I can take a lot of things, but she was using me as her butcher block. I had to defend myself someway. I don't want to hurt nobody else. I just want to learn and be happy going to Hogwarts. I want to be I a dorm room where we don't talk because we got nothing to say, not because I am a right proper git and failed at every possible level as a friend. I want to be in a class and not feel like I have to avoid all of you! This is school. This is where we learn and I learned lots this year. I learned I ain't good at being around girls and I learned I hate being lonely and I learned....- and he kind of ran out of breath. He put his hands on his knees and bent over to catch his breath. He finished with I learned I don't like hurting people. I learned I don't like real fighting. I just miss you guys. he reached up his hand, licked some of the ham off his palm and stood there.
