Ian woke up from what seemed like a very short nap and found himself on the floor near the cart. He sat up and looked around. No one seems to have noticed him at all. He shrugged and rubbed at the now swollen, throbbing place on the left side of his head. He stood slowly and picked his wand back up. Time to finish this activity up.

He looked around, trying to determine which one he wanted. He reached down as quickly as he could and just as he was about to grab the bulb, it bounced from his grasp. He pulled his hand back and began to speak to the bulb. C'mon now. I've got to finish this or I'll have no bulb at the finish of the term. He pointed his wand at the bulb and snatched at it again. This time, it tried to jump higher. Ian pointed his wand, called out Flipendo! and watched the bulb fall back to the bottom of the cart. He reached out, grabbed it quickly and placed both hands around it. It was a little uncomfortable that way as his wand was clenched between the quivering bulb and his hand.

Ian hurried back to his pot, thrust the bulb into the dirt and tried his best to get it covered one handed. he covered the bulb with his free hand, slid the wand back in his pocket, picked up his spade and tried to put dirt on top. There wasn't enough as he'd only filled half the pot. He released the spade, picked up the soil bag and poured more dirt on his hand and the bulb until the pot was nearly full. He extracted his hand carefully, not trying to give the bulb a path out and patted the dirt over and into the hole. Ian was now sweating from the exertion and was grateful this class would almost be over.
