The bouncing bulb did what its name suggested its preferred mode of movement was away from his grasp. Out of reflex, Benny quickly grabbed for it again which was another failure. The movement only resulted in the bulb being jostled first from one hand to another to the other until finally the fourth year lion got a good old on the little bugger with both hands. The bulb still trying to escape as he felt the movement against his palms and fingers.
Nope...not getting away.
Carrying the bulb to his pot, he was glad he had made a place for it in the dirt before hand. Ben then maneuvered the bouncing bulb into the spot and using one hand to hold it in place, quickly grabbed the shovel to add the rest of the dirt on top of the now-captive plant.
Whew...done.
