This school was definitely full of completely crazed weirdoes that belonged behind locked doors rather than in a classroom. And what made it even worse was apparently the teaching staff didn’t MIND it, they just let them get away with it. Layla blinked at the two girls, the messed up one who thought she belonged in a Disney story and the over-confident Gryffindor. And that kid wasn’t helping either.
“This place is full of wackos” she spoke not even bothering to lower her voice. She didn’t care who heard, it was completely true! And people wondered why she didn’t want to be here in the first place?! At least people were NORMAL at her old school,
She rolled her eyes and got on with her task despite the fact the Professor seemed to have given her a funny look. What? She wasn’t smiling AT the plant, she was smiling because it was easy. She would’ve snorted at Eden’s little mishap but she would’ve felt bad about it so she kept her mouth shut for now.
Seeing as she wasn’t familiar with the spell they were supposed to perform, Layla decided that she should actually practice first and so that she did. She watched others perform it first unsure of what exactly the wand movement was supposed to be. It didn’t sound like the Professor had explained it after all. “Flipendo” she repeated everyone’s exact words. Wasn’t that difficult and sounded sort of related to its use.
“Flipendo” she repeated until she was confident enough that she could move on.
If the crazed lunatics didn’t ruin the classroom beforehand that was.
