Two points from the entire class including Grayson . Walton just KEPT getting better. Maddie really wanted to have a sit down with the guy because she was curious now. Had he ALWAYS been this way or had growing up done this to him? Did he have a sense of humor? Was he going to go back to his office and laugh about this later? Something told the small brunette 'no' but she was still going to mull it over. And why not while she approached the cart, right? Keeping her mind on something else would help her not be as nervous and would hopefully keep those bulbs at ease. SEE? She was smart.
The second year stood when the Professor had neared her, waiting for Toby to take his turn before she gave it a go. And then she approached the cart, slowly and confidently, as if she was just going to pass it by without a second glance. She wasn't going to bother you, bulbs. She was merely going to bypass you so she could do more important things. Yup. So no need to get all bouncy and attack. No need at all. And it looked like this approach was working because they didn't SEEM threatened. She DID stop a bit shy of the man and his plants, though. JUST in case.
