When her head was on his shoulder, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and reached a little for her hand even though it was properly out of reach. Linc hoped that she would realise that he was reaching for her hand and move it so he could at least lace his fingers with hers. "I think this might be my favourite view here, you know? I like the one from our tower, but...this is... I don't know. Different. Nice." It was more like home for him, he felt. And he was so used to being outdoors and seeing the grounds was the best part. He was able to play football here and slightly forget that he wasn't in Manchester and didn't have a four year old running around after him.

He missed Flynn.

"I think you should come sit in my lap and mess my hair up and tell me all the good things about my attractive Darcy face. I think that's what a good date involves." His ego liked it too.
