But of course Tiara just couldn't get on the same page as the Headmistress. She had an excuse at every turn for why she couldn't just teach broom and transportation basics. What about it was so hard? It was a little compromise, yes, but at least it would mean keeping her job at Hogwarts.

"It would just fit in where students usually spend their time on the--- on here, you know," she pointed down at the ground. Speaking of, she looked around the pitch with wider eyes. "Shh! Quit saying the f---"

"---whoaaaaaaa," Annie changed the word about to come out of her mouth. She grabbed Tiara's arm. "Yes, I felt that! What WAS it?!!!" It almost felt like a landslide, or an an earthquake, which she had only experienced twice before...

She looked around for the nearest exit up into the stands. "I think we should probably get out of here." The fine little hairs on the back of her neck were definitely standing on end now.

Despite Anastasia's shock, Tiara was convinced that it was too extreme to ban the use of the word 'flying' or 'Quidditch' from any conversation at Hogwarts. And she didn't need to repeat the facts of the threat, either. Tiara was well aware of the circumstances. Nor did she appreciate being shushed by her Headmistress. The broom-polishing teacher opened her mouth to retort, but it appeared her conversation partner was just as concerned as she was.

"I'm with you!" she said hastily, taking off. She didn't look behind her to see if her boss was following suit. "Under here!" she cried, heading for the passage under the stands to her office. It was the sturdiest place she could see. And hadn't all those earthquake drills growing up prepared her for this very event? She flung her hands over her head just in case.
