Thornton was taking a while to settle in, given the show Lex had put on. He was paying attention, sure, but he kept stealing glances at her, worried that she could do something crazy at any moment.

But the professor was asking about Chocolate Frog cards, something that until the Ravenclaw party, Thornton had actually known nothing about. His collection stood at two: Dumbledore and Alberic Grunnion.

But, he wanted to participate as much as he could in any class that didn't require a wand, to make up for those that did. Raising his hand, he offered a thought: "The cards are a way to promote positive depictions of wizards and witches. Their successes are something to aspire to."
