"I'm not eating bark," Dot pulled herself up a bit to eye the tree dubiously. No bark for her. "And if we want Gilligan to like us, I'm pretty sure we shouldn't eat him." Just a thought. Being nibbled always made Dot cross, and she wasn't even a tree.

She latched an arm around the tree and tried to scoot up into a seated position. "Have you ever climbed a tree before? D'you do it often?" Because standing at the bottom of a tree, wiggling your fingers at the branches, didn't seem the way to go.
