It sounded as much, but they had been too slow in the beginning, and these were steps they ought to do quickly.
OOC: I know those are too many instructions, but RL is hectic, which means I can post only once, which means we are moving a bit slowly. I hope it is not too much.
I'll post about 17 hours later.
Gabriel heard the little girl...but he didn't need to be prompted to continue on with the potion, thank you very much. He'd be okay. He had Jeremiah standing right there with him....He would....be okay....hopefully.....
...though, the trembling hadn't stopped or eased in the few moments he'd taken. Gabe also heard the Professor chastising people about gloves and the like. He flushed crimson again...How embarrassing.
Attempting to work through the mounting anxiety and stress, he cleaned a measuring cup, spelled the desired amount of water into it, and then added it in. They'd been given the next steps quickly and he'd actually preferred it...moving right into adding the leech heads one by one, as instructed. Of course, Gabe cleaned his hands (again) before starting that process; feeling the pressure from the earlier compliment weighing on his head.
The shaking was getting worse...as he the same thing with a metal stirring rod. Cleaned it, put it into the cauldron...did the stirring...clockwise (one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine...AND TEN)...Not knowing if they'd be using it again, Gabe cleaned it and tucked it away.
Cleaning and reusing the tempered steel blade from earlier, he handled the ginger root...and carefully added that...
...and face back into the crook of his arm.
Hiding, yep. That was what it was.
