ZOMG!!!!!!! HE EARNED MORE POINTS!..... He figured he was on the right track, not at all that it was OUT OF THE BOX thinking, but he wasn't going to complain. "Thanks Professor!" he beamed, THRILLED that he'd made some sort of contribution to discussion in the subject. Wait until he wrote home to tell everyone!!!!! Of course, he listened to the OTHER reason for laying the hair on the feather like that. He nodded, showing that he was listening and stuff. This was, awesome.

It sounded as much, but they had been too slow in the beginning, and these were steps they ought to do quickly.

It was a good thing they were moving on too, cause this just got SUPER exciting since he earned points and stuff. Zeke started by first jotting down the notes quickly but legibly, and then he moved to clean his stirring utensil. He did this in the basin, not knowing cleaning spells yet - of course. Once he was sure everything was clean and tidy, Zeke followed the instructions to the letter.

"Aguamenti." Zeke measured out the litre of water first before adding it to the cauldron - he was all for specificity with these things. Following that he added the three leech heads, one by one easing them into the cauldron because he didn't think it was necessary for them to make a splash going in... and he started stirring clockwise.

1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10

Halting after the tenth stir, Zeke then retracted the stirring implement before adding half of the ginger root. While he was waiting for the two minutes to be up, he went and cleaned off his rod again.
