He'd waited until the last possible second, but Gabriel was there...and NOT late; freshly lint!rolled and all. Unlike with other lessons, he'd been eagerly anticipating Astronomy...mostly because of the science factor. Science was his shtick; something he genuinely enjoyed, outside of his multi!language study. Anyway, because Gabe was kinda excited, he sat in his seat, kinda smiling. He still resembled a caged animal, of sorts...but it wasn't nearly as severe as it had been in Divination. Female teacher, dark crowded classroom....Gabe hadn't know how to deal...
Yes, this crowded classroom was still a bit MUCH...but he refused to let his anti!social anxiety mess up science for him. He could do this...All he had to do was have a point of focus. Currently, that was Professor Flamsteed; the crazy man from the field trip. At least the man's antics? could distract?...from everything else? Also, he wasn't a girl. So, there was that.
Anyway....
NOT THINKING ABOUT OTHERS....AND NO ONE WAS WATCHING HIM, NOPE....Gabriel pulled his wand and tapped his name tag.
"Gabriel Banner." It wasn't said loud enough to draw attention...but it did the job and his name quickly appeared. He'd tensed just before it'd appeared, or course, worried he'd have to shout it or something...
Also...did he, uh, have to answer the question out loud? He'd, you know....write it down....in his notes and show it...
Guh.
Hopefully, Professor Flamsteed wouldn't get freaked out since Gabe wasn't looking anywhere but at him. NOPE. He only had eyes for the man...
"Space science." Tunnel vision seemed to be helping...
