The Gryffindor raised an eyebrow, AN INTERGALACTIC SUPERHERO!?! That was SO cool!! But then... Flailsteed changed his mind and called the guy an explorer and all glee disappeared from within the young boy's eyes. "Oh." and with that, he turned to go find a seat. Once he sat down, he noticed several of his friends come in and some of them even waved! Like Kyroh and Adi! So yup, he waved back at all of them and sat sort of impatiently in his seat. Why was he the first one in, again? Never again. Waiting was hard. Not to mention she-who-must-not-be-named walked in right after him. And of course, he avoided her gaze. Because even though he knew she was right now... He still didn't want to admit it. He had been too mean for that. Besides, admitting it to her would meant that he'd have to admit that Beautiful Bentley was really gone. And he was much more content pretending like that whole thing in the Herbology office hadn't happened at all. It was much easier denying it.
And then FINALLY class was being started and whatnot. Finally. Never being the first ever again by the way, that was a weird experience. Right then, uh.... They were making name tags? Even though all the other Professors did it this early in the term... Flailsteed was never a conventional one. So why now? But Zander shrugged and took out his wand. Choosing his words carefully because the name tags write exactly as you say it, he tapped the wand and "My name's--"
And before he knew it, the gold letters started appearing on the tag and-- NO THAT WASN'T IT!! This time in panic, "Zander Adair". But it was too late. The gold letters on the tag already read 'My name's'.
Do over!! He wanted a do over!! Letting out a small exhale of frustration, the Gryffindor angrily placed it onto his robes. His name was Zander Adair. Not "My name's". HMPHGRUMBLEHMPH. Trying to maneuver his arm over the name tag, he raised his other in the air. "Astronomy is good to understand because it's kind of relevant to everyday," dumb nametag was still dumb though "Because at night there will always be stars and the other planets, so it's good to be aware since it's apart of our lives all the time." He didn't know any of the fancy sciency terms though. And he was still mad about the tag. So that's all he could give on the subject for now.
