The Gryffindor just nodded because it IS hard to focus!!!! But he didn't really understand this whole training and practice thing. Because wouldn't it get harder the more they tried? Because then they would have even MORE thoughts to think about. Couldn't they just go back to making cards for each other because that stuff was easy! Even if the arts and crafts thing wasn't really his thing it was a lot better than hopelessly staring into a crystal ball that didn't give you answers. "Okay Professor," he hung his head sadly. But he wasn't going to cry because APPARENTLY that's not what scrying is about. HMPH.
Instead, he just stared into the crystal ball, trying to will it to say something, anything. Why wasn't this thing working? And how was he supposed to clear his mind of thoughts? Isn't that what minds were supposed to do? Have thoughts? It's practically a law.
