A few minutes of deep breathing with her head in her hand and Lux felt so peaceful that it was almost like falling asleep. In fact she must have, because her elbow moved from under her suddenly and she fell forward onto the table. Startled awake, she looked around in case Professor Cassie had seen it.
Wasn't her fault she had fallen asleep; deep breathing, nice tea, and calming music was enough to make anyone nod off for a few minutes.
Stretching, she wondered if it was worth another glance at the crystal ball then figured not since distractions were bad for scrying and her mind ws all over the place. What else had they been told? Maybe Professor Cassie had given them a hint while explaining the process to the class. Wasn't there something about positive energy? Time to look at her notes. |
