Okay but weren't the crystal balls reflective surfaces? Then Ruby could just angle it just soooo and catch reflections of suitable boys and then THEY would be in her fuuuuuture. Like she had this divination thing on lock.
It was just a little dark in here so that sort of limited the reflective RANGE and stuff.
