Why...was the Professor looking at her like that? Something about preventing themselves from trying? Was that it? She didn't even KNOW. Merlin, the Gryffindor hadn't been paying attention to anything in particular so most of it had gone over her head, but not the look, or that other look either. What? Had she missed something? Consider her mind not cleared anymore. More like cluttered with confusion as to what exactly might have been going on.

While everyone around her settled in and did the deep breathing Lex just...kinda...looked around. Her mind was as focused as it would ever be and she didn't think closed eyes would get her far.

It was all a ploy. See the Professor walking around. She'd be slipping things into the tea while no one was looking. Well not on her watch, nope, so she'd be keeping her eyes open, open and ON her cup.
