SPOILER!!: Batman
"Much better. It would be cool if we could just stay young forever.'' How awesome would that be? "When I agree with you?'' Adi teased. "Is that the only time?''

"Oh not probably. I'm sure you are. I don't even want to think about how powerful a swing you've got with a baseball bat.'' Speaking of bats..."You'd make a great beater for the Quidditch team.'' Did she even ever play the game? "Batman I am. Does that make you Batgirl?'' Adi looked at AJ and shook his head. So innocent, was she not? She might not feel the same way about him in a few years time. But he remained silent. No need to upset her again. They'd just see where this went. He just listened to all her questions. He knew she would react like that. But when she said she would have given Ian a chance, he spoke up. "Exactly. I knew that you would. It's because of what happened on the Train. You kissed me and when I kissed you, you went all weird. Figured you wanted us to be friends for life.'' There. That was his explanation. "Nope. Not avoiding it. Just wondering why you thought I made out with other girls. Let's see...one, two, three,'' the Puffer began holding up his fingers of his free hand as he began counting. He was pulling AJ's leg, of course. "I'm just kidding. I've only kissed Sophie from Slytherin but on her cheek. So, you have the honour of being the first girl that got a taste of these lips.''

Adi had to laugh at the psycho part. "I'm sorry about that. And yeah. I just thought of you as a friend back then. Remember when we were going home last term? On the Train I said I had a headache? Well, I really did. It was from trying to figure out everything that I was feeling for you.'' Did he start the mix signal thing? He couldn't remember. "Well, you continued with it,'' Adi added, poking AJ right back.

Hair tussled by the wind and AJ. His hair was totally a mess, he was sure. Not that he minded. AJ like it that way. "Not you for sure.'' That was pretty obvious.

"It really would. We could just eat chocolate frogs all day, climb trees, and swim without a care in the world." The list could go on and on. "Hey, don't you think there would be a potion for that?" They were magical, and what would be more magical than staying young forever? AJ laughed. 'Not the only time. I don't think we ever disagree really." Other than their teasing on who was cooler or better.

Her mind wandered to the baseball games she would play at home. "I do have a wicked swing." Even more so when she whacked a kid with a bat over the summer for getting cheeky with her. There was no reason to go and tell Adi that though. She usually wasn't a violent person. Quidditch. "Arista told me all about the game, and I REALLY wanted to try out my first year, but of course they canceled the game." AJ was really hoping that the game would be back on this year, but it wasn't looking like it. "Do you like Quidditch? Is it lots of fun? Do you play?" Her questions were flowing now. "If you are Batman then I am definitely Batgirl, only I'm not going to wear a dress or a skirt." Just in case that came up. The head shaking did not go unnoticed. "Do you not agree? Plan on getting rid of me after a little while?" But Ian? "Even after he tried to hex me you would want him to ask me out?" Yeah, she was not getting over that part anytime soon. "For the record I only acted like that because I didn't mean to kiss you. I just got lost in the moment, and I don't know." That whole situation was weird.

Was Adi really counting girls off on his fingers. "Really? You're gross," she teased. Then he told her that it had really only been one, and that was a kiss on the cheek. "I guess you just wanted to save the best for last." Meaning her. "What a lucky girl I am," she said sarcastically while still meaning it at the same time. "I guess I forgive you." Since the train ride home? "You've known that long?" Torture was obviously his thing. She laughed again. "Of course. I never back down from a challenge." No matter what it was about.
