That definitely counted in the arm department. He was kidding though because AJ had barely squeezed him. Her arms though, that was no joke. They were pretty athletic while still being feminine.
The shock of Adi confessing his feelings was starting to wear off. She was still in awe, but the reality of it was sinking in. Over a year of them going back and forth, and they were now on the same page. It was hard for her to even wrap her head around.
The kiss... it was nice. AJ only hoped that Adi thought so too because she didn't know what she was doing. It felt right, and she went with it. That was about as deep as it went for her. Her first real kiss. Technically her first real kiss was back in Sugarplum's, but it was still from the same boy. If only her lips had only been touched by Adi. Noooo. She wasn't even going to go there and ruin the moment. AJ laughed.
"It's not too late. I can still punch you if you'd like," she joked.
AJ leaned into Adi, and rested her head on his shoulder.
"You're not the only one. I told you whoever the girl was would be lucky, and that is still true." She really did feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Never in a million years did AJ think that she would be interested in boys... not until she met Adi.
"It's okay. It all worked out in the end because you definitely surprised me." Her mood had just went from gloomy to walking on sunshine.
Adi laughed.
"Noooo, AJ. You got it from me. I was born with it first, after all.'' LOL. She couldn't get around that one. He was the elder of the two and positive he'd been awesome the moment he'd been born.
"I know you do. You've still got to show what that game's all about.'' He'd never played it before though he'd watched a bit of it on TV. Cricket was his thing.
AJ was the first girl Adi kissed though back at Sugarplum's he was sure the poor girl thought he went around laying one on girls all the time because he had done it so calmly. Well, he hadn't really been nervous. He just had done what came naturally though he had to admit he liked this kiss a heck of a lot better because AJ kissed him back. "
It's not too late,'' Adi said. He wanted to joke about tackling too but he didn't want to spoil stuff. Not when they were both so happy at the moment.
When AJ placed her head on his shoulder, Adi rested his cheek on her head.
"And I told you that I'd be the luckiest guy in the world when she- well, you, became my girlfriend.'' He smiled as something occurred to him.
"I'd say we can both count ourselves as being lucky to have each other.'' They certainly could.
"Yep. You've got to admit though, all the flirting over the past year was sort of fun.'' To the Puffer, it had all started out as fun and jokes but it got serious somewhere in the past year.
