Because that was basically his second question. Could he transfigure people who annoy him into animals than turn them back.

Sophia smirked at the boy and settled into her chair. She thought better of giving him a direct answer to his question. "What do you think?" She most certainly was not above doing so, and if she did, who would know?

"Perhaps.." Sophia replied, to his question."But of course we won't be starting there. We'll be starting with hedge hogs into pin cushions and things like that. That book will have things for you practice on your own."
