SPOILER!!: Shy Benny

Angel was just staring down at the floor at the moment, she had a fight going on in her little head, one part of her was saying that boys had cootie and that she should be running away from Benny and washing for the next millennium but then there was the other part that was making her stay here, she actually had feelings for the guy... This was totally weird, she was twelve and she had feelings for a guy... this was not what she had expected to happen.

Angel looked back up as Ben spoke, she was still bright red. This was getting very awkward, very fast was there a joke she could tell to make the silence go away? Angel tried to rattle her brain to get a joke out but she had gone very quiet her brain seemed to be fighting with itself still.

Angel then listened to what Ben said, he had liked it too.. awesome now though here was the question did she kiss him back one part of her brain said yes the other was saying she was just twelve and well she had always been told boys were weird so why was she liking this boy.

Angel looked into Ben's eyes. "Yeah Ben I really say so." Angel said as she thought about everything that was going on at the minute, her brain was still fighting with itself, so she couldn't figure out what else to say. She just started to curl her hair with her finger, she was totally nervous about what to do or say next in the end she just stood looking into Benny's cute eyes... whilst playing with her hair...

Without thinking Angel suddenly said. "Can I just say what wonderful eyes you have Ben?" Angel leaned forwards and give him a small kiss on the cheek. "You seriously are the greatest guy in the whole world Ben." Angel was still fighting inside with her kid brain but well she seemed to be winning and hopefully Ben wouldn't mind the fact that she had kissed him on the cheek.

He was totally a fish out of water crossing into unknown territory. Angel was the first girl he had kissed in anyway...the first one to make him feel---different---as was his choice of words in his minor confession of feelings over the summer. "I guess we do..." he mused, reaching an absent hand up to rub the back of his neck sheepishly. Two blushing lions to be found in the middle of the fourth floor corridor...yep...that was them. Angel trudged further and the fourth year admittedly felt a sense of relief, however small and brief, at her words. She had liked it, and she wasn't going all silent and awkward like she had when he had kissed only her cheek. "I...I liked it too. " His main reason for pulling away had been the feeling of overstepping his bounds and ruining things. "If you say so..." Benny mused bashfully, unsure of the compliments as he was new to the concept of being called handsome. Really? Him?! But then she had doubted when he compared her to the beautiful flowers.
