She was a first year, yes Iris could tell. It was easy to pick out the first years. Mostly because of the way they stared at the portraits and wanted to chat with them. "Tessa it is very nice to meet you. My name is Iris." Which the child probably read off the name plate. "Are you a muggle born?" Her last statement got Iris wondering.
