It could be argued the Gryffindor had forgotten her manners with the way she just sat there staring at the Professor. Important role....yeah, she kinda already got that part and didn't need a reminder thanks. As if the badge didn't feel heavy enough without people drawing attention to it. Merlin. Catching herself in the end, Lex managed a polite nod and a mutter that could have been 'Thanks Professor' but then it could have been anything else too. Who really knew these days?

After watching what looked like Professor Smiles in hyper mode, Lex simply eyed her tea suspiciously as they were told to sip at it. It was already on the table, naturally they'd sip it, why remind them to?....Unless there was another motive.

Yeah.....she'd pass on this tea just in case she ended up like the energizer bunny snapping her fingers off at the front of the room. Hyper was fine, add to to uber super duper OMG ISN'T TODAY GREAT and then you had a problem. A Problem that probably hadn't hit 5 ft yet. Or had she? The question would be passed on too. Lex was clearing her mind like she'd been told to do, or trying to at least and thinking up answers would only put more thoughts in her head--and questions, there would be more of those too.

So for now, just silent staring.
