Clara ran her fingers over the spines of several books, grinning. She was definitely going to have to crack a few of these open to read, but for now, she was slightly more curious about what Gabe and .... his friend? were doing up here. She doubted that they'd come up here just to look at books, as she hadn't even realised that these were up here until she'd reached them.
She was just about to turn back to Gabe and question him again when another person walked into the room - a girl - and looked at the books, too. Funny that she didn't address anyone else in the room. Not at first, at least ... apparently Gabe's friend? knew her and ... asked whether she wanted to help? "Help with what?" Clara piped up. She was curious ... so of course she was going to ask about it.
Whatever it was ..... Also, Gabe seemed to now be shaking because of her presence? Or the other girl's? Or both, probably ...
