A truly selfish man if she'd ever seen one.

Should she apologize beforehand? Not at all. That would give away her position on the matter. Instead she simply nodded and was set to ease out of the chair but stopped at his question.

Lex raised a curious brow and thought to question why it mattered to him but figured he'd answered her questions so...she could humour him.

"Because they're dangerous and deadly." She said with a casual, unperturbed shrug. "I like dangerous and deadly things and the kinds of things dangerous and deadly things can do to others and objects around them in their environment. My kneazle's dangerous, the curses I like are dangerous and deadly and I fancy myself the same on some accounts." She trusted that answered his question, yes? If he was expecting some deep and undying love of plants he could think again. It was the things these plants could do that others couldn't.
He probably started feeling regret the moment the words left his mouth. He probably now was going to hear all sort of sucking up sentences about the love of plants and nature and its awesome and inspiring traits. The kind of things people repeated wanting to look and sound caring and .. whatever they thought it would give an impression of.

For Andy, they were liars. Mhm. He liked to believe he could tell the ones who really cared and the ones who wanted to look like they did. So the question was, which type was Miss Cambridge? Hm? He needed to know but he also wasn't keen on more headache which was the result of the long conversation he's been having with someone half his age. and maybe a lil younger, too

However, it turned out that Head Girl was neither of the types he was familiar with. He was hoping she was. Because then he would not be sitting behind his desk staring at her and trying to work out whether she was joking or not. He'd appreciate that dry sense of humour and ignore the fact that the Seventh-year totally crossed boundaries and was cracking jokes with him like he was her dormmate. He was really hoping she was, crossing boundaries that is.

Alas, she looked dead serious. He cleared his throat trying to say something to that that wasn't along the lines 'are you okay? Do you need help?'. He shouldn't be all that surprised, he certainly expected to encounter all kind of students.

"I see," he finally managed to say STILL hoping she'd laugh. But nope, seemed absolutely serious. At least she wasn't the lying type? He thought to himself. Which could count as something. Very little in comparison to the weirdness right now, but it was there somewhere! "I'm glad you shared that," LIES! He was not glad. He was now burdened. Thanks a LOT! A second and more complicated password was definitely in order.
