Immediately following the feast, Sophie was concerned. Naturally. Where had Culloden BEEN? Why wasn't he there? What was he doing? If he was hiding away in his office, she was gonna give him a good talking-to. Approaching the door, she was briefly caught off guard by the missing little noticeboard thing he had posted last term honoring his best students. It... was weird that no one's name was there.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Y'know, y'should just use a permanent sticking charm to hang my name by your door on a plaque or something. It'll save you the time and effort for these next four terms of writing my name on that sheet." If he was still doing that. She'd assume he was. "We should do that right now." Was he even there in his office? Could he hear her? She didn't know. She'd wait for him all night if she had to. "C'mon pleeeease open up I smuggled you out some feast food." Bribery to open the door for her. She didn't have the food for him, really, but she DID have her backpack full of sweets if he wanted to, and if he was really in there and would be disappointed with her for not having a plate of feast food, she'd just make it up to him later with a steak dinner or something.

One not laced with belch powder.
...

......time passed without an answer from the other side of the door. The silence suggested the professor wasn't there, but just before Sophie probably decided to turn away, sounds of rushing footsteps filled the dungeons, and a shadow emerged, growing quickly against the faint dungeon lights. A second or two later, the man himself arrived and his glance alone could kill. It was very obvious this night wasn't his best. He spared only a glance for her. It was probably the first time he was so angry in front of her either, and he didn't even say a word but proceeded to open his door. His manner wasn't inviting at all, but he waved his hand for her to come in as he was entering his office.

If it was any other student, he would have barked them to be gone, but it was Tiny. She had a talent for calming him down.

Ethan knocked three times on the Potions Master’s door, and took a seat on one of the black armchairs. Not that he will wait for a long time, but it seems that the weight of his badge was pulling him down.
Cosgrach hadn't passed the best of nights, but he was awake and had already prepared himself a painkiller for his terrible headache. He had drunk the last drop of it when he heard the knocking. He didn't bother to get up, but waved his wand to open the door and relaxed his neck once. This had better be a pleasant face.

And now he had to come here for two reasons. One, apologise which was something he was still thinking about NOT doing. And two, a career question.

Now that he thought about it, he didn't think he had ever been here before. He walked to the door , knocked on it and then turned around to sit on one of the black armchairs. UGH he wanted to get out of here already.
At least he wasn't so angry today. Very lucky for Kevin, indeed. Not that Cosgrach would feel any different with him there now - it was no secret these two hated each other. But Cosgrach didn't KNOW it was Kevin, so he opened the door with his wand and leaned back on his throne.
