The former Professor called me Lex but I'm not sure that's your style."

Her eyes slowly drifted back to him now. Yeah...she could see it. The posture, the 'to the point' questions. He was kinda like Collarbin. Small on conversations. "Your wake up hour is impressive. I'm not up before 12 unless I have to be." And with school starting again, she very much had to be. Ugh.

As for the visit, she glanced over at the seat opposite his own at the table, but he hadn't offered it and she wouldn't impose any more than she already was. "I'm here about Flesh Eaters, Professor. Wanted to know your policy on visitation with them and such." That was a safe enough start....
He couldn't quite work out whether Miss Cambridge was interested in all the offices' furniture and interior design or if it was only with Herbology. But he did know that the professor before him happened to be Gryffindor's Head of House, the head girl's house. He thought maybe that was it. Yet he still made a mental note about asking around. Maybe she had a habit of doing an inspection or something. And yeah, that wasn't his style. He was going to pass.

She somehow seemed to feel that it was important that he learnt of her wake-up hour. For the life of him he could not guess from where she got this idea but he did not comment on that. Which was a good thing on his behalf. Though, she obviously planned to stay for now and seemed to have a conversation in mind. "Please, sit," he sit motioning for her to occupy the armchair. Well, the one that didn't have books on it, anyway. It would gladden him if she said she was in a hurry and didn't plan to stay long, though.

He pushed back his seat and stood up walking around the desk to the other armchair that had the books. Andrew picked up a couple and set each on different corner of the desk then grabbed another two. "Restricted. They are restricted, Miss Cambridge. Completely off limits," He answered automatically without needing to think of it.
